Our History

June 2019
Vision

The Lord began to prompt Pastor JP Fero to launch into the deep and it was the first time the words ‘Church Extended’ were placed in his heart. This was the subtle beginning of what would become Church Xtended, a ‘beyond church-services Church’, which is fast growing into a force of revival and soul-winning.

February - March 2020
Inception
Early in the month Nickie Shivambu and Tiyani Shivambu
 shared what the Lord was saying to them regarding what would be Church Xtended and on March 22nd, they began meeting in a small living room. This group of 7 went on to become more than 10 families, meeting virtually to study the word of God and pray together for 21 days at lunchtime and at midnight.
April 2020
First Passover

From the 19th to the 21st of April 2020, Church Extended held its first Passover Conference virtually, in the midst of a raging global pandemic (Covid-19).

May 2020
First Live Stream
Beginning in May, Church Xtended began to live stream their services and on May 15th, the church was officially incorporated as a Non Profit Corporation (NPC).
November 2020
First In-Person Meeting
On November 1st, Church Xtended began convening their services in person at African Footprints Lodge & Conference Centre.
December 2020
First Worship Night
On December 11th, Church Xtended held its first worship night series dubbed ‘As it is in Heaven’, an evening of outpouring worship that saw the inception of the Xtended Worship Collective.
March 2021
1st Live Recording
Xtended Worship First Live Recording
On March 5th, the Xtended Worship Collective held its first Live Recording titled ‘Audience of One’, an offering of authentic worship to the King of kings and the Lord of lords. On March 21st, Church Xtended celebrated its 1st year anniversary in-person and online, a festival of praise and worship to God for bringing the church through and leading it onwards with his propensity and power.
December 2022
2nd Live Recording
Xtended Worship First Live Recording
In December of 2022, the Xtended Worship Collective held its second Live Recording titled ‘Until All Have Heard’, a herald of salvation.
August 2023
Come Alive Course
Compiling the Come Alive Course
At the beginning of August, Pastor JP Fero together with a team, began to put together the Come Alive course. It took nearly a year to complete the course material which lasts 40-weeks upon enrolling.
March 2023
Conference
1st ACCELERATE Conference
In March Church Xtended Fellowship held its first ever ‘ACCELERATE’ Conference, an international conference that equips the saints to walk in their divine calling and fulfil their own work. This conference has become a major annual event in our church fellowship.
